Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Goldfish Networks LLC (“Goldfish Networks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website at goldfishnetworks.com, our daily Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) lab packages, guides, bundles, study paths, and related features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, downloading a lab, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and that you are responsible for all activity under your account. Two-factor authentication is available to all members. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. The Service & access tiers

A new, reviewed CML lab is published each day. Member accounts are free. Access to the daily lab — and to the archive of past daily labs — requires a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually, auto-renewing until cancelled). That access is available only while your subscription is active: a daily lab you download is licensed for use while subscribed, and access ends if your subscription lapses (daily labs are not retained afterward). Bundles and study paths are separate one-time purchases that grant permanent access to their labs and do not include the daily subscription. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual labs, at any time.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals, and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for (no partial-period refunds). We will give reasonable advance notice of any price change before it takes effect. Any introductory or first-period promotional pricing applies once; the subscription then renews at the standard price ($19.99/month or $199.99/year) until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card details.

3. Your license to lab content

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to download and use the lab packages and guides you are entitled to, solely for your own personal study and skill development. This is a single-user (per-seat) license.

You may not:

  • redistribute, share, publish, post, sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise make any lab package, guide, diagram, or other content available to any other person or organization;
  • share your account, credentials, or downloaded files with anyone else;
  • remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, license, or watermark notice;
  • use the content to build, train, or improve a competing or derivative product, service, or machine-learning model; or
  • rebrand, repackage, white-label, or pass off the content or the Service as your own.

Each download is uniquely watermarked and traceable to your account. Distributing a lab outside your own personal use is a breach of these Terms, may be traced back to you, and may result in immediate termination and legal action.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or use automated means to download content in bulk;
  • circumvent, disable, probe, or interfere with authentication, access controls, rate limits, or watermarking;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the lab-generation system or any source code;
  • upload malware, or interfere with or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure;
  • use the Service to violate any law or infringe anyone’s rights; or
  • resell or commercially exploit access to the Service.

We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend, or block accounts that violate these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The Service — including all labs, guides, diagrams, topologies, text, software, the lab-generation pipeline, and the Goldfish Networks name, logo, and branding — is owned by Goldfish Networks and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license in Section 3, no rights are granted to you.

Cisco, Cisco Modeling Labs (CML), CCNA, CCNP, and related marks are trademarks of Cisco Systems, Inc. Goldfish Networks is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco. You are solely responsible for obtaining and complying with any license required to run Cisco Modeling Labs and any device images you use with our packages.

6. Content you submit

You may submit feedback, votes, and broken-lab reports (“User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and act on it to operate and improve the Service. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or obscene. We may filter, moderate, edit, or remove User Content (including automated profanity filtering) and act on reports at our discretion.

7. Payments, entitlements & refunds

Some labs and bundles are paid; pricing is shown at the point of purchase. A purchased entitlement grants ongoing access to that lab or bundle for your account, subject to these Terms and the continued operation of the Service. We may change prices and offerings on a going-forward basis. Refund requests are handled in good faith on a case-by-case basis — email support@goldfishnetworks.com and we’ll make it right. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time; the current billing period is non-refundable.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend, disable, block, or terminate your account or access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, for suspected fraud or abuse, or to protect the Service or others. A blocked account cannot sign in or access content. You may stop using the Service at any time. If we terminate your access for breach of these Terms or other violation, your license to the content ends and you must stop using and delete any downloaded packages, except where retention is required by law. Otherwise, one-time purchases (bundles and study paths) remain licensed to you under Section 3 even if you close your account or stop subscribing — you do not lose access to what you bought. Daily-lab subscription access still ends when your subscription lapses, as described in Section 2. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Labs are intended for educational practice. We do not guarantee that they are error-free, current, exam-accurate, or suitable for production use, and you are responsible for how you use them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goldfish Networks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goldfish Networks from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Privacy

We collect account information (such as your email address), usage data, and limited technical data (including IP addresses) to operate, secure, and watermark the Service. By using the Service, you consent to this processing, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
